A new & improved user experience for the Boijmans Museum's Collection site
Having two side-by-side collection sites, online research projects, and lots of lessons learned from its interactive audiotour Museum Boijmans was looking to create one collection site to bring everything together.
Based on user input from the analytics and micro surveys, and the needs and wishes collected from the cross-department project team from the IT, Education, Marketing & Communications and Collections Departments, a new site was designed and developed by IN10/DOOR.
The new site features improved search, pages about artists (a much sought-term), allows visitors to ask questions to the museum, and for the curators and education team to create stories and custom selections around popular topics and exhibitions.
